Dr. Scott Rankin is an award-winning physician who has practiced internal medicine for over 30 years. Raised in Queens, Dr. Rankin has a deep commitment to giving back his community. Dr. Rankin’s passion for providing quality healthcare is felt by his patients who note his attentive listening and compassion.
Dr. Rankin served as the Deputy Commissioner of Nassau County Department of Health from 2003 to 2005. While he acted as the Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Rankin received the American Heart Association Spectrum Award and the NAACP Health Award. Additionally, Dr. Rankin was an instructor and director of medical education at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center/Maimonides and the St. George School of Medicine.
Beyond being a physician, Dr. Scott Rankin is also a proud father and a husband. Dr. Rankin has been married to his wife for 34 years and has two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, and playing golf.
