Primary Care Doctors Improve Health

Numerous research studies have demonstrated that patients under the care of a primary care physician experience less ER visits and trips to the hospital. A 2021 study done by a large US employer association found that US adults who regularly see a primary care physician have 33% lower healthcare costs and 19% lower odds of dying prematurely than those who see only a specialist! As the research evolves, studies are finding that being connected to a physician is much more impactful than being connected to a practice where you may see different physicians. “Physician-connected” patients were significantly more likely than “Practice-connected” patients to receive the right care and to have superior clinical performance managing chronic conditions. Another study demonstrated that doctor-patient relationship in and of itself has the ability to promote healing.

At Primary PartnerCare YOU select the physician YOU want to see. They are your doctor! In addition to the research, we at Primary PartnerCare know firsthand what a difference that relationship makes. We take our duty as the patient’s “doctor” seriously and embrace the responsibility and accountability that comes with such a privilege.

That’s why I’m so proud of the work we do here at Primary PartnerCare, especially for Seniors, who far too often are left to silently suffer.”
