Catherine Stinsman, a Long Island native, has dedicated over 25 years to her career as a nurse practitioner. Her journey began in the intensive care unit, where she provided critical care to patients in need. Through this experience, Catherine developed a deep appreciation for the importance of preventive healthcare, which led her to transition her focus to primary care.
Known for her warm and approachable bedside manner, Catherine takes pride in building strong relationships with patients. She is often described as caring, efficient, and thorough. In addition to her clinical work, Catherine is passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. Each year, she dedicates her time to precepting and guiding nurse practitioner students from various universities, sharing her knowledge and experience to help shape the future of healthcare.
Catherine enjoys embarking on exciting adventures with her wife and their five children when she’s not caring for patients. As an avid traveler, she has explored over half of the United States and more than 20 countries worldwide. Among her favorite destinations are Montauk and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. During these trips, Catherine can often be found in her camper, singing along to U2 and Black 47 tunes, creating cherished memories with her loved ones.
