Elaheh “Elly” Johnson, a Long Island native, has been dedicated to her career as a physician assistant for over 15 years. Initially interested in becoming a doctor, Elly’s path took a turn after shadowing in a pediatric office. She discovered that being a physician assistant offered her the flexibility to provide the type of care she desired, ultimately leading her to specialize in primary care.
Elly’s choice to focus on primary care stems from her desire to foster long-lasting relationships with patients. She takes great pride in helping patients maintain their health by promoting healthy lifestyle choices and encouraging regular preventive care screenings. Her dedication to patient care and expertise in the field led to her being appointed as a fellow at the prestigious American College of Breast Surgeons for two years, a testament to her skills and commitment to her profession.
When she’s not collaborating with physicians and caring for patients, Elly is a devoted mother to her three children. She can often be found attending their various sporting events, cheering them on from the sidelines. Her two daughters love dance and softball, while her son is passionate about football, lacrosse, and baseball. Elly cherishes her time with her family and strives to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
