“You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you’ll win, no matter what the outcome.” - Patch Adams, MD
Dr. Gary Tollin is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. At the age of 13, Dr. Tollin realized he had a passion for both science and helping others and became interested in a career in medicine. As he progressed through his medical education, Dr. Tollin was drawn to primary care practice because of the opportunity it provides to develop long lasting relationships with patients while working together with them to promote their optimal health and well-being. And still today, one of Dr. Tollin’s favorite things about being a doctor is the relationships that he builds over time with his patients and his ability to have a positive impact on his community.
Dr. Tollin has been married to his wife, Amanda, for three years and has two young daughters: Whitney and Mila. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, playing tennis, and attending New York Islanders hockey games.
