“A Physician Is Obligated To Consider More Than A Diseased Organ, More Even Than The Whole Man – He Must View The Man In His World.” – Mehmet Oz
Dr. Gregory Ajemian has been practicing as a dedicated primary care physician for well over 30 years. He was drawn to primary care practice by the need to be aware of the whole patient, including their family and their needs. To that end, Dr. Ajemian has spent the last 30+ years practicing in the same community and recently moved to a bigger space to continue to provide high quality primary care to an even broader population of patients. Dr Ajemian strives to be an attentive listener while developing that special close doctor/patient relationship with the members of his community.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Ajemian was an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine at Stony Brook Medical School from 2010-2020 and is currently appointed an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine at NYU Langone.
Dr. Ajemian has been married 34 years to his wife, also a physician, after they met in Medical School. To this day he still advises that the best advice he ever received was to “marry that woman”. They have two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling (his favorite vacation spot is Venice), hiking in the Adirondacks, and spending time with his family.
