Born and raised in Bethpage, Dr. Lawrence Crafa has been practicing and serving the Bethpage community for over 25 years. He served as Chief Resident during his medical training at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center and continued his commitment to teaching medical residents for the Northwell system for over 10 years as the Program Director, Family Medicine. He states that his favorite part about being a doctor is the bonds he is able to form with his patients. Dr. Crafa ‘s patients describe him as upbeat, friendly, caring, accessible and a straight shooter.
Dr. Crafa has been married for 18 years and actively participates with his three sons’ love of baseball, serving as a coach and proud dad. The family has two Labrador retrievers. He enjoys the summertime and traveling (the Bahamas is his favorite vacation spot). Additionally, Dr. Crafa has served on the Board of Education in Hauppauge, New York since 2014.
