”It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others. It is from among such individuals that all human failures spring.” - Alfred Adler
Dr. Rode has been practicing internal medicine for over 30 years. She knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine to help patients, following in her mothers’ footsteps in the medical field. Dr. Rode found infectious diseases, namely HIV fascinating and became an infectious disease specialist working at a primary/urgent care practice for several years. Dr. Rode left after realizing she had more passion and satisfaction caring for individuals to help them on their journey to improved health.
Consistent feedback from her patients describe her as patient, thorough, informative, caring and friendly. Dr. Rode focuses on the overall well-being of the patient and not just a disease process to help achieve better outcomes for the patient.
Dr. Rode has two grown children, who are both successful in their own right. One in finance and computers (as well as a musician) and another child in international marketing. She is especially proud of her children who she describes as responsible, caring and family oriented. When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys listening to music, traveling across the country visiting US cities, and attending concerts and ball games with her family.
